| PETRONAS markets and trades crude oil through our subsidiary, PETRONAS Trading Corporation Sdn Bhd. These activities include the trading of crude oil in the world market, sourcing for non-Malaysian crude oil for processing at PETRONAS' refineries and marketing of PETRONAS Foreign Equity Crude.
More than half of Malaysia's crude production is exported as the crude oil produced is of high quality blends with a low sulphur content thereby commanding a premium price over the benchmark Brent crudes.
