Established in 1993, GALERI PETRONAS is a non-profit visual arts gallery primarily dedicated to documenting and promoting works created by Malaysian artists. It also serves to nurture greater public appreciation of visual arts, especially Malaysian artwork.

Located in Suria KLCC, GALERI PETRONAS has easy access to the public with no admission charge, enabling it to inculcate a deeper public appreciation and interest in art. Besides holding regular exhibitions across a wide range of artistic forms, it also organises regular public events such as artist-in-residence sessions, art appreciation classes for adults and children, as well as seminars and workshops for cross-disciplinary discussions and other public events.

The gallery is also the custodian of the PETRONAS Art Collection, acknowledged by Malaysian art historians as among the most comprehensive and relevant collections of 20th-century Malaysian art.
